Levi William Spalter Brit Milah June 23, 2004

The Brit Milah (Hebrew), also Bris (Yiddish), is a Jewish ceremony which welcomes infant boys into the covenant. Ths is a ritual circumcision performed by a mohel (Cantor Sam Pessaroff - www.mohel1.com) in the presence of family and friends, followed by a celebratory meal. Baby girls are traditionally welcomed with a smaller and more private naming ceremony.
