Cuningham Group Architecture, where Peter works had a competition to see who could build the strongest bridge (and best designed).
These were paper bridges made from 11"x17" sheets. They had to span 15" and weigh less than 1 lb. including paper and glue.

Peter won:
2nd place � bridge weight to carry weight ratio (12.2 oz.) (won$)   Winner was 2.5 oz. And carried 27lbs
2nd place � actual hold weight 77lbs (not an actual category)
1st place - design (Won$) (Castle bridge design)
